The unique stobilurin fungicide mixture Fenomenal has recieved an Extension of Authorisation (EoA) to be used on herbs and baby leaf crops as a fungicide for the control of Downy Mildew. Fenomenal is a Fenamidon and Fosetyl-Aluminium mix often used for control of pithiums and phytophthora in strawberries and ornamental plant production. This important EoA will help herb and baby-leaf growers combat Downy Mildew which is a significant issue especially in certain species of Basil.
Fenomenal can be used on herbs and baby-leaf crops at 2.5Kg/ha with a maximum number of two treatments per crop. Latest time of application is BBCH scale growth stage 42; Development of harvestable vegetative plant parts up to 20% of the leaf mass typical for the variety reached.
