ReduFuse IR is now stocked at Dejex along with other Mardenkro products such as ReduSol, Reduclean and GS4 glass cleaner. The ReduFuse IR is an advancement on the ReduSol shading which will diffuse the light spectrum required for growing inside the glasshouse while reflecting away infra-red radiation to reduce temperature levels. This provides a more stable growing environment and improves the available light throughout daylight hours.
Properties
High light transmission (PAR)
- High reflection of heat radiation (infrared)
- An evenly balanced climate due to light diffusion
- Less stress in the crop
- More photosynthesis, also in the lower leaves
- Lower leaf temperatures
- Highly wear-resistant
- Easy to remove with ReduClean
- More comfortable work conditions
- Suitable for glass, acrylate, polycarbonate and plastic film
Application
ReduFuse IR is suitable for all crops that are heavily dependent on light and has proven successful when applied to flowers, plants and vegetables in warm climates and during warm periods. ReduFuse IR is ideal for crops that thrive on diffused light but cannot stand too much heat.
How to apply
For the best results, ReduFuse IR should be diluted with a certain amount of clean water (depending on the application method) and sprayed evenly on a dry and clean greenhouse roof. The best layer is obtained when sprayed by machine. The table below shows the number of buckets required and the effect on the greenhouse climate.
Buckets per ha / acre | Heat reflection | Grow-light transmission | Wear resistance |
22 / 9 | |||
18 / 7 |
How to remove
ReduFuse IR is easy to remove with ReduClean. Spray at least 250 litres of ReduClean per hectare, diluted with 5-7 parts of clean water, evenly on the desired roof area. Only apply when the roof surface is dry but rainfall is expected in the next few days. The rain will wash of the ReduFuse IR layer.
