NovaTec N-max uses DMPP technology to slow soil bacteria converting Ammonium Nitrate into plant available nitrates creating a slow release of fertiliser over 8 to 12 weeks dependant on temperature and rainfall. This significantly reduces losses due to leaching and volatilisation and delivers nitrogen as the plant needs it, rates of 20% less nitrogen in this form can deliver greater agronomic benefits. Low carbon sources of nitrogen in production lead to -60% CO2e/t compared to other products in the market, this combined with less volatilisation and lower application rates gives significant CO2 reductions.
