Large 14% Sodium Hypochlorite Solution (liquid bleach) supplied in non-returnable plastic drum. Suitable rates for horticultural use: General surface disinfection 0.2% (2ml per 1lt) For continual dosing of dirty water 5ppm. Equivalent of 30ml of Dejex's 15% Sodium Hypochlorite per 1,000lt of water. For cleaning heavily soiled water 50ppm. Equivalent of 300ml of Dejex's 15% Sodium Hypochlorite per 1,000lt of water. This rate would be too high to continually dosing, but considered a “shock treatment” to remove pathogens.
