SilvaTherm anti hot spot tape, used for stopping polythene rubbing on the metal hoops of polytunnel frames. Significantly extends the life of the polythene cover. Improved UV stabilisation stops the breakdown of the smooth surface layer of the tape. SilvaTherm is manufactured from a polthene foam with no chlorides, cheaper PVC foam tapes produce chlorine when they break down. This causes the failure of sheets over hoops as the polythene can tolerate less than 150ppm of Chlorine.
